Topic: Building an Inclusive Community

Christina Horner, MS Ed. Christina is the co-president of World of Wellesley, where she focuses on family and community anti-bias awareness and education. In 2016, he was appointed by the Commissioner of DESE as a trustee on the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Racial Imbalance Advisory Council, where she advises the Commissioner of Education and the Board of Education on matters pertinent to the development and maintenance of integration in public schools within the Commonwealth. In 2022, she received the Black Excellence on the Hill Award from the MA Black and Latino Legislative Caucus.

Michelle Chalmers, MSW. Michelle is a White woman from predominantly White communities in the suburbs of Boston, created by redlining and racist policies of exclusion. Michelle intentionally volunteers with antiracist community organizations and is always engaging in action to destroy white supremacy. Michelle is an antiracist educator, author and facilitator with the grassroots organization White People Challenging Racism - Moving From Talk to Action and Race in Point. www.MichelleChalmers.com
