Congratulations to Fran Yuan for Unsung Heroine Award

Rep. Dave Rogers nominated Fran Yuan as the 24th Middlesex District's Unsung Heroine for 2022, sponsored by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. Each year, this award is dedicated to women who have contributed decades of public service to their community but have not received the recognition they so well deserve. Fran has been an active, dedicated member of the board of Belmont Against Racism for over two decades! In addition, she founded the Belmont LGBTQ Alliance, served on the Belmont Human Rights Commission, serves on the Board of the Pan Asian Coalition, and is co-chair of the Social Action Committee of First Church, Unitarian Universalist.
