A Summer of Reading Dangerously: All Boys Aren't Blue

Aug 23, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Hamilton-Wenham Public Library (+ Zoom), 14 Union St, South Hamilton, MA 01982, USA

Combat sweeping book bans with a summer of reading dangerously. Join us as we discuss the topics and themes that make each book "dangerous" and write letters to the legislatures that have banned them.

Published in 2020, All Boys Aren't Blue is a series of essays that depict the author's experiences growing up as a queer black man in Plainfield, New Jersey.

All Boys Aren't Blue explores themes of race and sexual identity.
